This is a 1-day woodworking workshop for women. Absolutely no previous experience necessary, this is suitable for complete beginners.
You can choose one of the following projects to make:
The day will run from 10am - 4/5pm, please bring your own lunch.
Plenty of tea, coffee and waffles available.
All timber, tools and safety equipment will be provided.
Cost for the day is £45.

Private Workshops
Bring a group of up to 6 ladies for a fun day out.
A birthday celebration, hen party, business away-day or just a chance to spend some time with friends.
The day starts at 10am with coffee/tea and home-made bakes, we will learn the basics of woodwork measuring and cutting and make a start on the project you have chosen for the day.
We will stop for a delicious lunch made with local ingredients and maybe even veg from the garden in the summer!
The afternoon session continues as we assemble our projects and start to see them take shape.
When the creations are finished there is cake and prosecco to celebrate everyone's achievements. The day will finish around 5pm.
Birthday/ celebration cakes can be provided for special occasions. Non-alcoholic fizz will also be available for drivers.
Private workshops can be booked for weekend days by prior arrangement.
Please get in contact if you would like to discuss or book a date. Fully-catered private workshops are £75 per person, other options are available.
Women's drop-in days at the Men's Shed are every Friday. The Shed is open from 10am - 4pm.
Suggested donation - £10 per day , £5 per half day.
You can try your hand at a bit of green woodworking with Matt, or bring your own ideas and plans and create your own project.
All hand tools will be available for you to use and power tools will be available as long as there is a responsible member of the volunteer team on-site.
If there is something specific you want to make, or if you want me to help you with a particular skill, then please check with me first which dates I will be there.
I will always aim to do at least 2 Fridays each month.
